Active Cooling and Thermal Sensing (ACTS) Lab

Welcome to the ACTS lab at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). At ACTS lab, we specialize in the fundamental science and advanced technology of active cooling and thermal sensing.

Our lab focuses on understanding and decoupling the physics in the human-machine mechanical interface. We are interested in the underlying physics in the interface, including but not limited to contact, capillary, electric field, lubrication, contamination, and air bearing. We are devoted to develop the next generation of human-machine mechanical interface that are more intelligent and powerful.
